Progress

Right: firstly a little “apology” about my rant from the other day. Some of it was justified. Some of it wasn’t. Having said that, it’s my blog and I’ll cry if I want too.

 

Back to the blog: There is so much going on at the moment, behind the scenes. I really wish I could tell you more, but all I can do is just give away a few tidbits. It really is all quite secretive.

On top of all that, I have invested in some more real estate. I have registered a new domain name and thanks to my new Internet Guru (Alex — Separated at birth) getting some cyber space sorted out to host a new small website for another project, or let’s call it a venture, that I am pursuing.

Also, a new business name to be coming along with that.

As I sit here and type this, I am currently on standby and really, REALLY don’t want to be. I spoke to the lady in the office yesterday and said that if I get to sit at home all weekend, with out going to one call (even though I don’t make any money like that) I am quite prepared to just spend the weekend relaxing. Catching up on other things like some editing, behind the scenes work and maintenance on my site.

As of like 30 mins ago, I actually “broke” this site. Set up a few extras to try get it to run faster. And those extras just BROKE the site. Luckily I managed to get it all sorted. But the site is still dog slow… Need to try find ways to speed her up.

Back. I had put my GoPro Hero 3+ Silver up for sale. Hoping to get it sold for a half decent price, that would then put some cash towards getting the Hero 4. Did a test a a few days ago with my Her0 3 Black. Went for a 15 minute cycle and recorded the footage in 2.7k @ 24 fps. The footage was insane and that’s why I tried to get a Hero 4 as the 4k frame rate is higher.

Just looking through the GoPro specs for my Hero 3 Black camera… And there is a 2.7k 30 fps option. So will be giving that a bash sometime soon.

There is no reason for posting this Supeman logo… Guess I’m just filling up space. And it looks pretty cool.

Was going through some old hard drives and backed up drives n folders… And I came across this image. There were some of my closest friends back in South Africa. Just shows how time ticks over and moves along. Practically don’t speak to any of those guys anymore. It just seemed that because I was the one that moved away… It was always down to me to keep in touch. I mean… Everyone practically has some or other kind of mobile phone chatting app. Nothing wrong with dropping a message occasionally. Oh well… I guess that’s just life. People move away. People move on.

Guess I may as well keep this blog short… As I really don’t have much to say. Just rambling on…
