So its been a busy old wknd for me as far as photo shoots are concerned. I managed to shoot @CharleyAtwell on Saturday at her home for 4 hours. Then a relatively new model Lou Heart on Sunday. 2 completely different models. 2 completely different styles.
Charley was more the glamour model. Long hair. Big boobs. Sexy pout. She needed practically no direction at all. Just pulling pose after pose. It made my “job” much easier. I find that when a model has a certain look/style, she is easier to photograph as she knows poses and angles that make her look good. Charley was really easy to get on with. She’s very chilled and relaxed, like myself and it’s how I like to conduct my photoshoots.

Lou was more the alt girl. Several awesome tattoos. Long dark hair. Amazing figure. While Lou is relatively new to modeling, she had no problem pulling off some amazing poses and looks. She was so comfortable in front of the camera. I’d like to think that I sometimes bring that side out of models. After all… I’m not a seedy GWC who only wants to see boobs.
Bearing in mind that it is the style I prefer to shoot, it’s not always a must, for a model to get naked. It must add to the photo. Having said that… Having a naked woman in front of your camera isn’t necessarily a bad thing 😉
The new camera, D7100, was great. It was a whole other learning curve. Getting to know where the buttons are and what not. Also… I’m not entirely sure, but I think there were times when the camera just refused to focus. I will have to have a proper test run. Also… I think that I may just give the camera a full hard reset.

The camera also seemed to pop up with the Image Review after even though I didn’t actually take a photo. I would half press the shutter button to focus. Let go. And the image review would show. Weird.
I have still got the Lou Heart Catalogue (Lightroom) to sort through. I have already started sorting through and done one edit, which can be found on my Facebook page (link) and also under the Latest Images on my Home Page.
This month is proving to be so busy I can’t find time to scratch my ass, let alone pursue projects with 100% gusto. Everything is half tanked atm. Hoping, that while I don’t want summer to go away, work and life will slow down a little, so that I can get back into a routine again. Of which, gym 3-4 times a week needs to be one item on my agenda.
Think it might also be a time for a “Photos Blog” Just a few photos taken with my phone while out n about.
Not much else to say at this very moment. Should be back soon… Have already started writing my next little blog. Â So I’ll leave you with these…
